CODATEX meanwhile has more than 15 years of grown experience in RFID technology. Our RFID components are developed and also mostly manufactured in Austria. We are independent and not bound to any external protected technology, single supplier products or property rights.
This and our slim organization enables us to produce our products flexible and economical, also in smaller quantities. Our efficient structure permits an active dialogue and very short ways of decision.

 

CODATEX has expanded its network of sales partners throughout Austria, Switzerland and Germany during the last two years. The thereby improved customer service still offers short delivery times and local support. We also offer many successful components as an OEM supplier, because our motivation is on both: leading edge technology built into versatile and highly sophisticated products for a long lasting use in the markets.

 

CODATEX also provides standard components, which offer apart from a very good price-performance ratio security and reliability. Access control as well as Time and Attendance are our core market segments. Usually our customers serve these segments as system integrators.

 

RFID  stands for Radio Frequency Identification. This is a contactless communication technology where data carrier (transponder) transmit information for identifying objects or persons.

 

The transponder covers a tiny computer chip with antenna and is integrated in a carrier  like e.g. plastic cards, key fobs or wrist-watches.
On each chip a number code is stored. In order to seize the stored data, special readers are in use. The transmitting/receiving unit induces an electromagnetic field, which is received by the antenna of the RFID-transponder. The transponder sends the number code back to the reader.

 

Using RFID-technology contributes unlimited possibilities to almost all aspects of live: from economics, science, public utilities to private households and leisure time. Trade and industry focus on RFID as technology to the full extent because during all business processes where recognition, controlling, assignment, tracking and tracing is demanded RFID can contribute to gain reliability, speed and flexibility and help reducing costs.
